Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes agree to a 10 year, $503m extension

The Kansas City Chiefs star QB Patrick Mahomes has agreed to a contract extension that will keep him there for the next 10 years.

With this contract extension, it makes Mahomes it now makes him the highest paid American athlete ever. Well deserving of the contract, Mahomes has altered the Kansas City franchise in a way that almost nobody saw coming and has led the Chiefs to a record of 24-7 while on his way to collecting 2018 NFL MVP, Super Bowl LIV Lombardi Trophy and the Super Bowl LIV MVP. Mahomes is a once in a lifetime athlete and we are excited to see what his future holds.
