Eagle’s DeSean Jackson Apologizes For Anti-Semitic Posts

Philadelphia Eagles Wide Receiver DeSean Jackson issued a second apology today for the anti-Semitic social media posts he made over the weekend.
Jackson directed this apology to the Jewish community.
‘I unintentionally hurt the Jewish community in the process and for that I am sorry!’
Earlier today Jackson issued a video apology on his Instagram page.

“I want to extend an apology on the behalf of me and what I stand for,” Jackson said. “I never wanted to raise doubt or put any people down. My post was definitely not intended for anybody of any race to feel any type of way, especially the Jewish community. When I posted what I posted, I definitely didn’t mean it to the extent you guys took it.”
“I definitely didn’t mean it to the extent you guys took it.” This is what I have an issue with, I think it is absurd to think that you could post something like that and not expect the response that it received. He should know better, maybe if this was a rookie receiver right out of college things may be a little different but DeSean Jackson is a thirteen year veteran.
Jackson’s status with the Eagles.
Jackson’s future with the Philadelphia Eagles is still unclear. The Eagles issued this message on Twitter earlier today before either of his apologies. Could this be a catalyst for the Eagles cutting DeSean from the time? We will find out in time.
