Quarter Mile at a Time – Fast Five

I live my life a quarter-mile at a time. Nothing else matters; not the mortgage; not the store; not my team and their bullshit. For those 10 seconds or less, I’m free.” – Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto

Fast & Furious is no longer about street racing.

1. 2010 Koenigsegg CCXR

Not too many cars to pick from in this movie, but this car is the sickest one to show up in the movie.

“After their heist in Rio De Janeiro Brazil, Roman stops by Tej’s garage in Miami to show him his Koenigsegg CCXR that he purchased with his money from the heist. Roman claims that he only has one in the Western Hemisphere. It is soon revealed that Tej has one too. To Roman’s surprise, Tej tells him that there’s now two in the Western Hemisphere. Roman agrees clamiing that they could “shine together”.

“The Pantera GTS is one of the cars that is housed on the train after it has been seized by the Drug Enforcement Agency. Brian O’Conner and Mia Toretto break into the train car holding the cars and make way for Vince and Zizi to break in for Hernan Reyes. Vince gets into the Pantera and drives off into the desert, presumably to deliver the car to Reyes, and it is not seen again.”

“The WRX is obtained by Brian O’Conner and Dominic Toretto presumably from a street race and is brought back to the gangs hideout where they use the car to practice hairpin turns to try and avoid the police cameras at the Rio Police Station.”

I don’t know why, but I like the minor cars, the cars that are only on screen for a couple of minutes.

FAVORITE CHARACTER

A car is only as good as its driver and this franchise is always introducing new faces, here is our favorite character from the film.

NATHAN

Gisele Yashar

Switching it up to my favorite girl character in the whole movie series Gisele Yashar. Of course some of my influence in choosing her is defiantly her beauty, but she is also a amazing character who should have lasted a longer longer then she did.

STEVE

Tej Parker

Tej is back, baby. The afro is gone but everyone’s favorite hacker has returned.

FAVORITE SCENES

NATHAN

This fight between Hobbs and Toretto has to be the best hands on fight in the whole movie series in my opinion. .
There is just something about Roman’s humor i love in al the movies.

I forgot that this film opened with a train heist, but I love it. RIP Paul Walker. This franchise owes so much of its success to him.

This is the scene that the Subaru Impreza appears in.
