This is a bi-weekly column from Chris and I where we go through the National Pokédex and talk about whether we could beat each Pokémon in a fight.
Weight: 13.2 lbs.
CHRIS:I would just bring a magnet with me and stick itto the back ofit. I could move it anywhere, and it would have no idea what isgoing on. This is an easy win.
STEVE: This is just a piece of metal with two big magnets for arms. What is it going to do, magnetize me? W.
Weight: 132.3 lbs.
CHRIS: This has always been an all time favorite forme. I have no idea why consideringit’s very non creativedesign. The size worries me a little. I imagine punching metal, and that hurtsmyhand thinking about it. I thinkI’ll take this loss here. I could be zapped. I would struggle todomuch with a big metal robot. I lose.
STEVE: This is just three Magnemites stuck together. What are they going to do, magnetize me? W.
Weight: 33.1 lbs.
CHRIS:I’mhappy to see another stupidbird. I’ll take that stick and beat him down.
STEVE: This is just your average, run of the mill, regular ol’ duck. I would be lying if I said that I think I would lose to a duck. W.
Weight: 86.4 lbs.
CHRIS: I picture myself being pecked to death, and that kind of scares me. One poke to the eye and Iquit. Loss.
STEVE: I could maybe deal with one of these birds, but the addition of a second head is a real game changer. I’ll be trying to attack one head and the other can attack me freely, not a good look for me. L.
Weight: 187.7 lbs.
CHRIS: This is almost my height and weight to a tee. But it has three heads. We are fairly equal, but they have such an advantage. Loss.
STEVE: Doduo to Dodrio is a huge upgrade, 100 pounds heavier, a foot taller and a third head. I’ll take my second loss of the day. L.
CHRIS: 2-3. These beefy boys are worrisome. I hope I still beat Steve in the end.
STEVE: 3-2 today. I don’t see myself getting beat by magnets or a duck but two large birds will definitely do the trick.
New fights every Monday and Friday 5:00 PM EST. Gotta beat em’ all.
